First off, I just love the brand of this hammock...Legit Camping. I mean, what can be better than Legit? Too Legit? Ok, I'll stop. So I picked this thing up awhile ago, actually in the off season and I finally got a chance to check it out. I have to say for an easy $30 (as of this writing), this thing is a steal. Maybe that's why it's Amazon's Choice in this category with over 1,600 reviews! What in the world. So take low price x many buyers x well reviewed....no wonder I bought it. This site is where I basically layout what makes sense in terms of cost/benefit and my focus is typically on camping cots. When branching outside of that I tend to use the same formula.

You could backpack with it if you know your surroundings, but I'd probably leave it at home under those circumstances. Also this is a double hammock and can support 400 pounds.
